Tokyo Emerging Technologies Capital (TETC) is the flagship service of Nova Capital Advisory Inc., established in Ginza, Tokyo in July 2025. We are an investment and advisory firm specializing in blockchain, fintech, and AI — bridging cutting-edge technology and financial innovation across Japan and Asia.

TETC operates across three core pillars: investment, strategic advisory, and market entry support. Every member of our team brings direct operational experience in their respective field — VC investment, blockchain protocol development, exchange listing support, tokenomics design, and regulatory compliance.
We operate in four languages — Japanese, English, Mandarin, and Cantonese — enabling seamless execution across cross-border mandates.
Why We Were Founded
Japan is one of the world's most advanced markets in digital asset regulation. Stablecoin legislation, security token frameworks, and clear licensing pathways have positioned Japan ahead of most jurisdictions globally.
Yet for overseas projects, entering Japan remains a significant undertaking. Navigating the legal environment, securing local partners, and developing market-appropriate communication strategies are challenges that most projects cannot address alone.
On the domestic side, the demand for advisors who combine deep technical knowledge with practical financial experience continues to grow — while qualified partners remain scarce.
TETC was founded to close this gap. We serve as the operational bridge between blockchain technology and traditional financial infrastructure, for both inbound and domestic clients.

1. Capital & Investment
We make direct investments in digital assets — tokens, validator nodes, and real-world asset tokenization (RWA). Investment decisions are supported by in-house due diligence, combining financial and technical expertise across DeFi, blockchain infrastructure, and emerging technology sectors.
2. Strategic Advisory
Our core service area, structured across three disciplines:
Financial Use Case Design: We support the design and implementation of practical financial use cases leveraging fintech and Web3 technologies — including stablecoin models and cross-border payment frameworks.
Japanese IP Digitalization & Tokenization: We provide end-to-end advisory for the digitalization and tokenization of Japanese content and intellectual property.
Tokenomics Design: We design and optimize token economies with a focus on economic sustainability, regulatory alignment, and market viability.
3. Global Expansion & Localization
We provide end-to-end support for overseas fintech and digital asset projects entering the Japanese market:
- Regulatory research, risk mapping, and legal support (including coordination with Japanese law firms)
- Localization of pitch decks and whitepapers; bilingual documentation

Yutaro Hiyama — Founder / CEO
Finance and venture capital professional with 6+ years of cross-border investment and fintech experience. Background includes EY, Astar Foundation, Startale, and HIRAC FUND / Money Forward. Has led strategic advisory for 20+ portfolio companies and built partnerships with 100+ corporate VCs worldwide. Graduated from Hult International Business School on academic acceleration.
Yuhong Chen — Co-Founder / COO
Cloud, AI, and Web3 specialist with experience at Microsoft, Astar Network, and Soneium. Supported 100+ startups and contributed to international initiatives including AI for Good. Currently a PhD candidate at Keio University in collaboration with the London School of Economics.
Parco Tong — Global Strategy Advisor
Crypto and fintech strategist with experience leading the Web3 division of a major financial institution in APAC. Specializes in token listings, market-making strategy, and global expansion for digital asset projects and exchanges.
Looking Ahead
We are currently exploring two areas of expansion.
The first is tokenized asset management — specifically real estate and corporate bonds. Drawing on the financial expertise developed through our consulting work, we aim to create new investment opportunities at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets.
The second is financial licensing in Southeast Asia, primarily Malaysia and Indonesia. By establishing local SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles), we plan to build a compliant RWA investment platform accessible to both Japanese and international investors.
Closing
TETC is a young firm, but we are convinced that the practical application of blockchain technology will meaningfully reshape the financial and business landscape across Japan and Asia.
